Sitka Hunting Gear Do It Yourself Antelope Hunting?

Do It Yourself Antelope Hunting? - sitka hunting gear

I hunted deer in Wisconsin and Illinois, and the game-Blacktail Sitka, Alaska.

I watched, guided antelope hunting is one of those years. Currently I live in Illinois, so I thought a hunt in Wyoming, it would not go so badly.

Does anyone find tips to make land available to the public? All proposals for a good place to hunt antelope in the first place? Any advice from experienced Prairie Goat Hunters (hardware required ... 4 Wheel Drive jeeps, on foot, spotting scopes, binoculars, etc. ..)

I think it's two great things that I want to know how public Country find (federal, state, etc..) When people suggest good hunting antelope and what you get when you go hunting in the meadow.

(In the fight against poachers ... me from the comments, do not care. Matto and I eat what killed them. "Wild game is much better and cleaner than the shit purchased in a supermarket. They kill animals the life at one point, as opposed to the farm)

The Bureau of Land Management maps show what is publicly available (the Agency) and private land. It has been several years since I hunted Wyoming, but more and more difficult to extract, the units north of Rock Springs and north of Douglas had a lot of money. Can we camp in the forest or BLM land service, or if a reasonable distance from one village to stay in a motel. Spot and stalk is a good way to hunt. View to the west in the morning when the sun is behind you and the very visible white antelope. In the afternoon to the east. If you simply sit on the panel on a climb and maintain - especially if there is water in the vicinity of a windmill. I think that if they follow a fenceline until you (a cross between the antelope still having never directly) by a depression under the fence and as a rule by a few hairs on the beach indicated, basically, if I am away from the intersection turn to sit on the fence along approximately 80 meters and at a fencepole can often be great when they find out - continue to cross the fence.

Since time is probably hot,Metzger necessary, or at least the gut and skin of the animal as quickly as possible and put it on ice or at least in the shade. Drag another antlerless tags, if available, as they were () are far less expensive than the labels money. You get less than half of a pronghorn meat you get from a Northern same-sex deer. A trophy will be wooden dollars about 3-fold longer than the ears with the point very large.

Antelopes are catching a lot of fun, so many eyes in the distance. Four-wheel drive is useful when hunting north of Rock Springs, we were, about 60 miles from nowhere and has 2 or 3 vehicles. One year we had an early snow storm and another vehicle was trapped in an alkali flat and had to be transported away to another truck. Be sure to bring warm clothing in case of bad weather, although it can be very hot. I'm using 10x42 binoculars and a telescope to keep a window to get into the car. A wide-brimmed hat and a bag or backpack with water must be trucks. If you or your vehicleATV to explore, stay in the 2-tracks and roads, since neither the land management or security staff welcomes ride through the prairie to chance and not fire on the vehicle.

Wyoming Department of Game will help you be a good place to hunt on public land. Most people who work for them, are very useful.
